With over 30 years in the fitness industry, Della brings depth, experience, and a refreshingly realistic perspective to training. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from McGill University and is a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor through the YMCA. Her education and certifications span DTS Back Fundamentals, Corrective Conditioning, Bosu and Stability Ball Training, and Gymstick, making her a go-to coach for safe, functional fitness.
Della began her fitness career in 1993, driven by a desire to shake up traditional workouts with creativity and fun. Her inspiration came from a cousin in England, and a simple realization: if she was going to join fitness classes, she’d rather be the one designing them. That instinct still guides her today. Known for her ability to make movement accessible and enjoyable, she meets clients where they are, using real-life analogies and personalized cues to help them move better and feel stronger.
Della has never subscribed to the “one-size-fits-all” approach to health. She’s open about navigating her own physical limitations over the years, and clients love her honesty, relatability, and encouragement. Whether someone is brand new to exercise or returning after a long break, Della creates a space where progress is celebrated, laughter is welcome, and success is measured in confidence and consistency, not clothing size.
