FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is Bellefleur Fitness?

Bellefleur Fitness is a physiotherapy-owned and operated fitness studio dedicated to providing a personalized approach to your fitness journey. We specialize in semi-private personal training and one-on-one private sessions, ensuring tailored support to help you achieve your goals. Our studio is a one-stop shop for your training needs with individualized workout plans that make it easy for you to just show up and focus on your workout. No fighting for equipment, no figuring out what movements to do and how many sets and reps of each, or doing your exercises incorrectly, leading to injuries. Our team helps you at every step.

Can I join Bellefleur Fitness if I am not a physiotherapy client?

Absolutely! You don't need to be a physiotherapy client to join Bellefleur Fitness. Our programs are open to everyone looking for a safe, supportive, and effective fitness experience - whether you're just starting out or looking to take your training to the next level.

What is semi-private personal training at Bellefleur Fitness?

Just like one-on-one personal training, our knowledgeable fitness coaches listen to your goals and design a customized training plan to ensure safe and effective workouts. With a maximum of 5-6 bookings per session (each individual working on their unique plan), you’ll receive the dedicated support you need from a trainer while building camaraderie among other community members. Scheduling your 50-minute sessions is flexible, so during less busy times, you could be one-on-one with a trainer or have others in the space! Our easy to use booking software provides you with the number of bookings at any given hour. You also have the option to upgrade a session to a one-on-one for a discounted rate should you wish to work alone with a trainer.

What else does a semi-private personal training membership include?

Semi-private personal training packages typically include your initial one-on-one assessment with a coach, unlimited weekly training (max of 1 booking per day), specialty mobility and metabolic conditioning group classes, any workshops or fun group classes (dance, yoga, etc.), online nutrition tracking and meal planning software, group fitness or nutrition challenges, video-on-demand for home workouts, community boards, etc.

What is the difference between semi-private personal training and small group training?

Semi-private personal training typically involves 3-6 clients working with one coach. Each person follows a customized program tailored to their individual goals, needs, and fitness level. It offer a more personalized experience with ongoing coaching and progress tracking.

Small group training usually includes anywhere from 5-10 participants and follows a structured program designed around a shared goal or theme (e.g., strength, fat loss, mobility). While still guided by a coach, the focus is more on group energy and less on individualized programming.

Do you have any group programming or classes?

We occasionally offer small group programs designed around specific goals, such as strength, mobility, or seasonal challenges. To see what's coming up, we recommend contacting our office directly or following us on Facebook and Instagram for the latest updates and announcements.

Do you offer private one-on-one training packages?

Absolutely! We offer a variety of packages for one-on-one as well as partner training. Contact our team for pricing and coach availability.

Do you offer free intro sessions?

We do not offer free intro sessions at Bellefleur Fitness. Since we do things very differently by offering individualized programming, results won’t be found in one session. We welcome you for a free strategy session and studio tour by contacting our team.

How much does a membership cost?

Depending on the package you choose and how many times per week you attend the price will vary. It is best to speak with our team to find the right package for you based on your needs.

Can a membership or session be billed as physiotherapy to my private health insurance?

No, a membership or session cannot be billed as physiotherapy. Physiotherapy services are distinct from personalized fitness training, as they focus on rehab and addressing specific injuries or conditions under the guidance of a licenced physiotherapist. While our fitness coaches collaborate closely with physiotherapists to ensure proper form and techniques of movements, our sessions are designed for general fitness conditioning. If you have an injury or concern, or you would like to learn more about our physiotherapy group rehab programs, we would be happy to connect you with a physiotherapist on our staff.
